Windy is the legend, the greatest warrior in the history of mankind, the Apogee of Man.

His early life is well known, he grew up in the vice sleeze pit that was 2080s Stoke, he finally left after creating a hard new image of himself called the Windscorpion (the name he thought sounded more butch than his real name Trevor). He then sold his services to the highest bidder, using the money to improve and perfect his combat technology including his iconic Adventure Backpack and his famous helmet (though originally he just used a modified crash helmet - see image below).

Windy joined the DDS in the earliest days and quickly rose to the top of the combat ranks, he usurped Ronald to become DDS Commander but could not prevent the Clones from defeating the DDS in the 1st Clone War.

Windy kept the DDS together as a fighting force and led the fight in the desperate battle to stop the Clones dominating space before gradually turning the tide culminating in the epic battle of Randalf 74. This was such a crushing victory over the Clones it has to rank as his greatest triumph.

Unfortunately from the jaws of victory came defeat. He was killed in battle by Captain Clone thanks to the treachery of Rotarios and the DDS entered a death spiral. Firefly restored Windy to the time line from a parallel universe, the restored Windy helped save the DDS from irrelevance and finally bought the Clone Wars to a close.

Windy was at the forefront of DDS efforts to secure the UNP from a myriad of threats during the 2100s. He also became DDS Commander for the second time though stood down in the later 2100s as he became gradually disillusioned with the DDS and the corruption endemic in it. Finally Windy left the DDS to form his own agency iP Services. After a period where he faked his death in order to undertake in secret a mission against the Tarbotians Windy returned to the DDS in 2104. He then took up the role of Vice-President in overall charge of intelligence and security.

In 2119 he was elected President and led NS again until 2121.

Despite his 100% homosexuality Windy did have a son SFX.

Salamander

Salamander or Sally was a cousin of Windy and has fought alongside him for many years. Sally was a good warrior though also rather deranged and sexually demented. He was a top notch ship pilot though. He upgraded his firepower though prefered to use a chainsaw.

He committed suicide following a psychological attack by Dr Phoebus.

Brad

Brad is SFX's deputy and maybe his only friend. The two are close and in tune with each other (some have speculated if they are lovers but it is thought they are just really good buddies).

Brad helped SFX escape from a UNP gaol and was taken under the iP Services wing.

SFX

SFX joined the DDS a few years ago, his aggression and military skills quickly rising him through the ranks to command a Prowler unit. SFX was notable for his hero worship of Windy and later was found to be the son of the Apogee of Man (SFX's mother stole Windy's semen years before to impregnate herself).

SFX is now Windy's right hand man and heir. He joined his father in leaving the DDS to become a free agent in iP Services. SFX is a great warrior like his father though perhaps even more xenophobic.

His first name is Stephen. Despite his loathing of aliens in general he formed a close and intensely physical relationship with a Dino called Isak whom Windy later killed. After this his relationship with his father became ever more problematic especially when SFX took on new Dino lovers. Finally his rage saw him take it out on Quarz whom he killed (or rather a substitute) and he was on the run from the UNP authorities though still serving the DDS in an unofficial iP Services capacity. However he was killed during a space combat with the Argon.

Truman

Truman is one of a number of idiots who infest DDS GHQ though to be fair to Truman in his case he is merely more a bit unimaginative than stupid like Trojan Warlord. For a time he was on Horsehead's and later Knobhead's staffs.

To the shock of everyone, including Windy, he married Windy's cousin in a ceremony in Vegas. Truman expected death but instead got a job! Windy recruited him to iP Services to act as technical assistance during away missions, and make the tea.

Truman is a robot of unknown origin. He has a spare head (right) which he uses sometimes when his main head is undergoing maintenance. SFX thinks this spare head is even more stupid than the main one.

Black Hat

Black Hat is a feared investigator, an expert in psychology and adept in destroying any resistance in his quest for the truth. He loathes sin and sloth, Redjec in particular he despises. He was in the DDS but left to join Windy's organisation. He was blamed for Rathun's escape and fired though Windy has recently let him return.

Black Hat sometimes wears a patch, its not yet known if this is because he only has one eye or wears the patch to intimidate.

He died when Redjec destroyed SS Stoke City.

A brutal sadistic thug, Dump provided the muscle for Team Redjec though the mute sex criminal also works for the DDS in general. After the fall of Redjec Dump transferred to iP Services.

It is said he lost his speech through the trauma of accidentally having sex with a woman a long time ago.
