A venal cowardly man though not without his abilities, and possessing almost inhuman amounts of self-belief and self-delusion. Redjec first came to prominence on a ship commanded by Quarz, Redjec loathing the Cowardly One and began a seemingly endless vendetta against him.
Redjec was one of the secret cabal (along with AP and Vodaphone) who created the Hoods and facilitated the Rotarios regime. Redjec remained in the loop and when AP came to power to continue the New DDS Project he was promoted to City Commander in charge of GHQ and all facilities, and defacto Deputy DDS Commander (although The Shiner is in name). Later on AP made Redjec his official deputy.
Redjec formed a support unit called Team Redjec to help him in his endless quest for respect, though one setback was his marriage to a feminized Rathun. After his wife's death he tried to escape the downward spiral into evil he was trapped in but Windy would not offer him amnesty. He apparently killed himself in a suicide attack on Windy's prison ship SS Stoke City.
However he faked his death and left DDS space. He was chased into an unstable wormhole by a Bolitic ship and ended up on the other side of the galaxy. It was there he joined the Yikatarians and became the consort of their queen. He finally returned to DDS space after many years away. Using his advanced alien technology he kidnapped and tortured his arch enemy Quarz before finally executing him in front of Windy.
Redjec's plans seldom come to fruition though he remains a threat. He is an agent of the mysterious Organisation syndicate and is assisting the Mutre Bee in operations against NS (2771/2).
