The Friar, for a long time the deputy and friend of Ayatollah Clone XE, finally turned against XE seduced by a lust for power. He helped engineer the secular coup that saw Captain Clone, Benito Clone and himself overthrow Oojok and try and wipe out the Church of Oojok once and for all.
XE finally avenged himself on The Friar by making Windy believe The Friar was secretly XE and responsible for the death of Windy's boyfriend Ralphie. Windy captured The Friar and condemned him to the rape dungeon on his ship. The Friar was finally executed by SFX in a fit of rage, by then The Friar was probably grateful.
