S101 was the leader of Starbot for much of Starbot's history (though shared much of the responsibilities with B-B). S101 has been the lynchpin of Starbot for millenia though he is not without flaws. Non-mechanical life confuses him no end, and he sometimes betrays a fascist edge to his dislike for "human prattling". His judgement has sometimes been put in question too such as when he exiled K-1 instead of investigating his friend's erratic actions (which were being caused by mental illness).
In 2115 he became ever more erratic leading the Starbotians to a series of costly defeats. B-B forced him to resign and seek medical help, S101 was diagnosed with the fatal "bit rot" degenerative disease though had at least 20 years of normal life left. His condition has not thought to have worsened.
Following the downfall of K-2 S101 has become Starbotian Commander again.
