Verute was a criminal (in prison for car theft) released by Solax in return for helping Bife with a mission to kill the Bolitic baron Xotalo.
Later on he was discovered with his 2 colleagues hundreds of light years away from the Bolitic on a planet called Theta Omicron 435-6. After a struggle with Ronald and his crew that left Bife dead he was forced to join Ronald's crew.
After the end of the mission he was pardoned, his current status is unknown.
