After her peer Asian Hawk failed in a mission, Windy gave her a field promotion to command a Starsystem. Her promotion was made permanent and she later commanded a Rome class patrol ship. She became highly regarded by senior officers in the DDS especially after she did not break despite brutal torture when a prisoner of the Argon. Put on an ISSF track she was made Head of ISSF (later NSIS) under Knobhead.
She was later made Vice President (Security) in control of NSIS, special forces and the DSA. After Torus became NS President, Stella became Vice President (Operations) and the second-in-command.
She is well known for her steely nerve and poker face.
