Ranki was the vice president of Unatel Gamma. When the planet was invaded by the Clones he evaded capture and tried to get the DDS to rescue him and the Unatel gold reserves to continue the fight. However he was found out to have duped the DDS and was trying to steal the gold for himself. He was killed by Dr Death and Voltage.
