Erinson tried to destroy Jimmy's career by manipulating the conspiracist Goodson into "uncovering" a massacre Jimmy was supposed to have been behind (it was all untrue). Erinson was finally tracked down and killed by Ralph. Erinson was working for an alien, as yet it is unknown who exactly was behind the conspiracy.
