One of the then hot young guns in the 6th Legion El Diablo was the shock choice to succeed Ronald as Emperor when The Anointed One stood down due to injury. El Diablo was unprepared for the role and was usurped by One-Horn. When Ronald was restored El Diablo was left in disgrace though managed to restore some of his honour by helping capture the renegade MBH.
El Diablo was never been fully restored in Ronald's eye however and relations between the two remained cool. El Diablo finally left Ronald's Imperial Order faction and finally become aligned with Jimmy's Liberal party. El Diablo, despite earlier setbacks in his career, has become one of the Dinos' greatest generals.
Recently he officially joined the Liberal Party as a Deputy Leader. In November 2112 he won the first solo Consul election and ruled the Dino Republic alone until the end of 2114.
