Dodek has risen through the ranks thanks to the recent political upheavals in the Bolitic Confederacy. He was the squire of Sir Joshi but when Emperor Borca was killed Melson eventually became the new Emperor and as a member of Melson's house he was been promoted along with his master Joshi who was granted his own house and are closely aligned to the Emperor's own forces.
Dodek now commands Joshi's flagship and often performs missions for the Emperor.
