Although B-B wass officially outranked by S101 in reality the two jointly led Starbot with B-B concentrating on "home" affairs. B-B is one of the Starbotian originals and probably understands the weirdness of organic life forms slightly more than S101.
After S101's downfall B-B also decided to retire. With the downfall of K-2 and S101's return to power, B-B resumed his former role of Home Commander and number 2 in the Starbotian heirarchy.
